In this heart-warming musical, Charlie Brown faces the challenges of life – kites, ball games and various misunderstandings. Lucy woos the music-obsessed Schroeder, Linus clutches his security blanket, Snoopy dreams atop his dog house and Charlie wonders how to win the heart of the Little Red-Haired Girl. Can they finally come to terms with what Happiness is?
Based on Charles M. Schultz’s iconic comic strip, “Peanuts,” this musical was originally launched off-Broadway in 1967 with Gary Burghoff (later Radar O’Reilly on “M.A.S.H.”) as Charlie Brown, and went on to Broadway in 1971. The strip and its characters subsequently evolved, and the show returned in a much-acclaimed revival in 1999, adding new songs and Charlie Brown’s younger sister, Sally – a star turn that helped to launch actress Kristen Chenoweth’s career. This family-friendly show includes many favorite themes: the baseball game, the kite-eating tree, Lucy’s advice office, and an attack by the Red Baron. We’re offering two matinees each weekend for this show.

AUDITIONS ARE THE WEEK OF DECEMBER 5, 2011
See How They Run
By Philip King
Directed by Floyd A. May
MAY 5TH - 20TH, 2012
FRIDAYS & SATURDAYS AT 7:30 PM & SUNDAYS AT 1:30 PM
The inhabitants of the idyllic rural village of Merton-cum-Middlewick in 1940s England are preparing themselves for the imminent threat of Nazi invasion. Miss Skillon is convinced that her beloved vicar’s wife, an actress, must be having an affair, and attempts to expose her. Add an escaped German prisoner of war, a handsome actor, a visiting bishop, a rotund priest and some meddling neighbors, and anything can happen in the delightful romp which follows.
Fans of Miss Marple and other cottage mysteries know how a little misplaced small town gossip or unexpected strangers can lead to unforeseen consequences. This fast-paced farce will keep you on your toes and laughing until the curtain calls.
Produced by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC.
AUDITIONS ARE THE WEEK OF MARCH 3, 2012
